Description
ST Engineering Hackney, Inc. (STE Hackney) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Kidron refrigerated trailers. The suspension pivot bolt may not have been properly tightened during the alignment process on certain Hendrickson suspensions with Quick-Align systems.
Injuries / Consequence
Improperly tightened pivot bolts may fail, causing the suspension and the attached axle to separate from the trailer, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect, and if necessary, tighten the suspension pivot bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 1, 2023. Owners may contact STE Hackney customer service at 1-252-946-6521.
