Water Intrusion In Harness Can Shut Down EV System

Description

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America, Inc. (MFTA) is recalling certain 2024 FEC7K and FEC9K trucks. The chassis harness may have been improperly sealed. Water intrusion can shut down the EV system, causing a loss of drive power.

Injuries / Consequence

A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will repair the chassis wire harness and replace the fuse terminals as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 28, 2025. Owners may contact MFTA customer service at 1-877-711-0707. MFTA's number for this recall is C10129.
