THE PARKING BRAKE RELEASE CABLE MAY BIND IF IT IS TOO CLOSE TO THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. ALSO, THE OIL HOSE MAY CONTACT THE BRAKE PUMP BRACKET AND EVENTUALLY CAUSE OIL TO LEAK FROM THE HYDRO-MAX SYSTEM.
Injuries / Consequence
THIS COULD CAUSE THE PARKING BRAKE TO BE INOPERATIVE, WHICH COULD ALLOW THE TRUCK TO ROLL AND COULD RESULT IN AN ACCIDENT.
Remedy
REPLACE AND REROUTE CABLE TO PREVENT BINDING. ALSO INSPECT AND REPLACE DAMAGED HOSE.
