Description

FUEL LINE ASSEMBLY IS A FLEX FITTING DESIGN THAT TRANSFERS FUEL TO THE FUEL INJECTION PUMP FROM THE FUEL FILTERS. THE FLANGE ON THE FUEL LINE MAY CRACK.

Injuries / Consequence

A CRACKED FLANGE WOULD ALLOW DIESEL FUEL TO SPRAY FROMTHE FILTER HOSE UNTIL ENGINE SHUTS DOWN DUE TO LACK OF FUEL. THERE IS ALSO APOTENTIAL OF ENGINE COMPARTMENT FIRE.

Remedy

A NEW IMPROVED DESIGNED HOSE WILL BE INSTALLED TO REPLACE THE OLD HOSE.
