THE OPEN DESIGN GUIDE SLEEVE FOR THE PLUNGER IN THE ENGINE INJECTION PUMP MAY CONTAIN A STEEL BURR THAT CAN LODGE BETWEEN THE GUIDE SLEEVE AND THE PLUNGER CAUSING AN INCREASE IN STRESS AT A NOTCH IN THE SLEEVE AND RESULTING IN CRACKING OF THE SLEEVE.

Injuries / Consequence

THE CRACKED GUIDE SLEEVE MAY BIND THE FUEL CONTROL RACK,RESULTING IN A LOSS OF ENGINE SPEED CONTROL.

Remedy

THE INJECTION PUMPS WILL BE REPLACED ON ALL ENGINES.
