A FORGING DEFECT IS PRESENT IN THE DANA SEMI TRAILER KING PIN WHICH CAUSES IT TO FAIL. CONSEQUENCE OF DEFECT: KING PIN FAILURE COULD CAUSE LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL WITHOUT PRIOR WARNING WHICH COULD LEAD TO A CRASH.

Remedy

REPLACE THE FRONT SUBFRAME WHICH INCLUDES THE KING PIN.
